Activities have disappeared from my Garmin Connect

Went for a run this week and used my Forerunner 235 as usual. Synced with my iphone but then received the message as shown in the photo. Since then, I have not been able to access any activity data for the last 4 weeks. Same message. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it as well as doing a soft reset, but it's still not letting me see any data. I've since downloaded Garmin Express on my pc and can see all the runs there except for the most recent one, although the steps from that run have been registered. I don't know what to try next, it's really annoying. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions of what to try next please? Thanks.
  • Have you tried syncing using Garmin Express? That may work.

Additionally, is Garmin Connect (mobile & desktop) and device at latest version.

If that doesn't work, For the missing activity, you could try copying the activity from your device to desktop (using Explorer to see the activity on Device in Activities folder). Then import the activity into Connect.

For syncing, you should be able to forget the device in Express then 'Add Device' again. I've done that once before.
    • Scroll to the bottom of your “My Day” screen where it says “Edit my day”.  At the bottom, you can add items that have disappeared from your daily screen.  At the top you can select to restore activities.  I had lost an activity and heart rate.  I was able to add them both to my day using this option.
