Garmin Connect Iphone App 2GB in 7 days???

i get the warning from the provider company and i see the data usage on my iphone

I'm in the exact same boat, somehow mine has used close to 7GB in 5 days with me noticing until I got a msg from my provider saying I'd almost used my data allowance. I reset the data stats on my phone to see what it was doing and within 15 minutes I had again used 150mb whilst I even closed the app in the background.

My phone is linked to my 935 watch to get notifications and upload activities. So I'm unsure how the app could've possibly used so much. I've since deleted the app and may try and install again but don't want to until garmin can look into this and figure what the app is doing and where it's using this data and stop it from happening.

I closed every app down and then reset the data stats on my iPhone 5s and looked at them 20min later and again garmin connect had used 150mb.

So I've since deleted the app and not going to reinstall until garmin looks at this. My phone is connected to my 935xt watch and the only thing I know it does is send notifications to my phone, periodically update daily activities and also auto uploads activities. The app appears to be streaming a HD movie in background with how much data it is chewing for absolutely no reason.

If anyone has any solutions or advice I'm all ears! I really hope garmin can look at this!!
