IOS 11 trouble

Just to let everyone know that Connect Mobile works OK with the new iOS 11 beta but no notifications are sent to the watch.
Cheers
  • Just updated to iOS beta 3 (15A5318g).

Just updated to 318g and it's not much better. I do seem to get a single notification after re-starting the phone. I didn't do a clean install, though, and will do that tonight and report back.

  • Wiped and did a clean install of iOS 11 beta 3 (318g) last night and it worked! BUT only till this am. Got a couple of notifications on my 935 before getting out of bed but after poking around a little, they stopped and none show up in the widget. Restarted phone and watch to no avail.
  • I am with iOS Public Beta 2 (15A5318g) and no notifications. Also call notifications sometimes do not work (they did work on Beta 1).
Wish I could go back to iOS 10.3... everything worked perfect...

Is there something to do or just shut up and wait? :)

I had the same problem both with beta 1 and 2, so I tried to remove the bluetooth connection between my Garmin and iPhone, and now the iPhone doesn't seem to find the watch so I can reconnect again, any advise?

You could try uninstalling and re-installing GCM?

I'm on Public beta 2 with no GCM issues at all. When my iPhone6 first booted up into the new beta, GCM said that Bluetooth was switched off. It wasn't, but I toggled it off then on again and it has been working fine ever since (2 days now)
  • The biggest issue for me is that Livetrack doesn?t work with iOS11 Beta 3. Can?t even go into the feature in the Connect app without the app crashing.

Apple releases beta software for developers to use to ensure their software is compatible. At the moment, it isn?t, and I would think Garmin would want to know.
  • So I wiped and reinstalled from backup again - tho from an ios 11 beta 3 backup - and notifications have been working well for a couple of hours. Could be that the initial 'clean' install still had a restore from an ios 10.3.3 backup???

UPDATE 7/24.1: Notifications worked for about 24 hours. Then stopped. Updating to beta 4 tonight.

UPDATE 7/24.2: Upgraded to beta 4 (15A5327g) without doing clean install and no change. However, this time, I removed device from bluetooth (but not in GC), then re-added/paired and notifications currently working again!

Hi all, new to these forums. I have a FR235 and iPhone 7. Was on the first 3 beta's of iOS 11 and have issues with all 3 including missing notifications and unable to connect to watch. This led me to going back to iOS 10.3. I see that Beta 4 has been released this evening. Would be good to know if any of these issues have been resolved before jumping back to iOS 11.

Just upgraded today to IOS Beta 4. Did the trick. Now I get all notifications. On IOS 11 Beta 3, I was getting nothing.
