just thought I'd post a tip regarding switching to a new phone (finally replace my aging 4s with an SE) and issues with bluetooth pairing on FR235. After much messing about with backup/ restoring worked out the following:
- unpair the watch on the old phone in garmin connect mobile (remove the watch from your devices)
- backup your old phone (via iTunes or iCloud)
- restore your old phone backup to your new phone
- turn off bluetooth on your old phone
- turn on bluetooth on your new phone
- then pair the watch with the new phone
I think my issues were due to the watch not being happy to pair with 2 devices (or not 2 phones), but removing it from the old phone first seemed to do the trick and now I've got my FR happily connected to the SE.
