Garmin Connect keeps recording in imperial

Hey guys,

I can't find an answer to this one. My activity records on my Garmin Fenix 3 in metric. But when I view the results on the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone it gets recorded in imperial vs metric. Anyone have the answer to how to fix this?
