GC app stops syncing on iPhone and 520

I've searched the forums but can't find exact problem. Garmin 520 and iPhone 6SE worked perfectly until Feb 16th update. Now sync starts but then says "Sync Failed".
I repaired with phone, deleted GC app and reinstalled. Same thing. Any solutions?

Edge 520 sync fail after 2/14/17

My iPhone 7 used to sync perfectly with my Edge 520 before the 2/14/17 update to the GC app. I tried forgetting my device and pairing it again but it doesn't work. My phone and 520 say they are connected but the sync fails every time.

Any help is appreciated.

My Vivoactive HR has also stopped synching some activities - mainly sleep data.

I never got a chance to update the software in my 520. But Garmin had an update on the GC app so I tried syncing and it worked. Had to be a GC dlitch.

I had this very issue. Very bizarre but carry out a new ride. You only need to track for a second or 2, and then manually upload the ride at the bottom of the summary screen. This worked for me and has been fine since.
