Edge 520 Pairs with iPad but GC Doesn't see it.

I've been pairing my Edge 520 with my iPhone and everything's been working as advertised: the 520 pairs over Bluetooth with the iPhone, and GC 'sees' the 520 and uploads to connect.garmin.com.

I've just tried this with my iPad Pro, running the same OS as the iPhone (10.2.1) and the 520 readily pairs with the iPad, but the GC app says 'no devices paired'. It shows the 520 as registered to Garmin Connect, but not as paired with the iPad. The iPad reports that it is.

Any suggestions?
