Does not seem to sync properly from Garmin Connect on iPad in that watch faces do not update. I want to go from the digital look to analog look. Does synch fine for steps and exercise recorded. Anyone see this and what needs to be done? Thank you
I'm not sure what you mean. You change the watchface displayed on the VAHR using the device's user interface, and not through the Garmin Connect Mobile app.
To change the watchface displayed on the Garmin wearable device, the user may select any of the (factory-installed, or user-acquired) watchfaces that is in the device's memory, using the user interface on the device itself. You do not select using the GCM app which watchface to display on the device.
To add new Connect IQ watchfaces to the device, so that the user may select it as the watchface to display on the device, one would use either the GCM app, or the Garmin Express application running on a computer, to acquire, download and transfer the watchface(s) to the device.
Those are two distinct steps not to be conflated with each other (cf. "sync").
Thanks ASD. I have got there now. It did not work from iPad but I managed to follow the steps using PC and GExpress. From iPad I indicated to download but got nothing ..... oh well. All set now.
