Why Connect's steps can't sync to iPhone Health's steps?

Hi!
My phone is iPhone 7 and IOS is 10.1.1, watch is Forerunner 35, Connect version is 3.11.1.26.
Today Connect show my steps is more than 10000, but iPhone Health show more than 3000. Because I run for a while with watch, without iPhone.
I want to ask why not Connect sync steps to iPhone Health? How and When Connect sync data to iPhone Health app?
I have seen the data source in Health App have Connect option, but it only shows data before and yesterday. Why?
Thanks!
  • This is a well known Garmin bug: Steps are usually transferred to Apple Health with a 1-2 day delay. Occasionally my steps are transferred right away, most of the time they aren't. Just be patient, the usually appear in Apple Health.

It's hard to understand! Since it is a known problem, why not to solve quickly?

  • You do understand that this a user forum? We do not know if anybody at Garmin even sees these posts. I suggest you file a support ticket (like I and probably a lot of other people have done) to bring the issue to Garmin's attention.
