Run data not uploading to Runkeeper since Garmin Connect Mobile update

I have a Garmin 630 watch purchased in August and data from runs was automatically being uploaded to Runkeeper, but the last successful automatic upload was Oct. 13/16. My next run after that was Oct. 15/16 and it did not upload, and hasn't since Oct. 13/16. I have disabled authorization of Garmin Connect in Runkeeper, and reauthorized but data still doesn't load. I see that there was a Garmin Connect Mobile update around the time my issues started, so am assuming that is the problem. When I check the Garmin Connect Mobile app settings on my phone, Runkeeper is not listed as an option for 3rd party apps. Grrrr. Am I the only one with this issue? Is there a work-around? I tried importing a gpx map file, but that isn't working either! I really don't want to have to be manually entering data into Runkeeper forever...

    The same thing is happening with my Nike+ app. Please fix this Garmin!

  • From a technical perspective, I don't think the problem is in the iOS app ... since the iOS app only uploads to Garmin Connect.

    Garmin Connect is what uploads activities to partner sites.

    There might have been a change on the GC back end that is causing the problem.

    Try disconnecting the partner site from your account and reconnecting it. I've found that solves a lot of those kinds of problems.

    Garmin Tactix is also not syncing since the last Garmin Connect update

    Since the last Garmin Connect (GC) update (16 OCT 2016), my Garmin Tactix which I use to track my runs is failing syncing. :( I hope Garmin can fix this soon before my Tactix runs out of memory to store my runs! I get an error message on GC app saying Tactix sync failed. I sent a feedback issue email with logs in through the GC App so hopefully the GC techs can get it figured and fixed.

  • To bad - apparrently reconnecting fixed it exactly for one run - today's morning run did not go through.

    So for now I resorted to using fitnesssyncer once again to keep everything aligned.

  • And as we were speaking a Runkeeper iOS update hits my iPhone with:

    - You can now connect your Garmin watch and sync data automatically with Runkeeper through the improved integration in our app's Settings.
    - We also made some Garmin ConnectTm bug fixes that will help you successfully import data.

    Sounds interesting. Will definitely give it a try asap.

    I also have problem since Oct 13,2016. No data upload from Garmin to Nike app.

    Export to runkeeper stopped working

    I experience the same thing. Last export was 18th October. None of my runs after that day have been exported to runkeeper.
  • Updated to the latest Runkeeper iOS app that allows connecting and disconnecting Garmin from within the app and did just that, and as a result today's run transferred correctly to Runkeeper.
