iOS 10

Hello,

I'm trying to understand if the current latest version of the Garmin Connect iOS app supports iOS 10. I can't find any conclusive reports one way or the other and I'd like to know if it's safe to update my phone to iOS10.

I have a Fenix 3, and Garmin Connect 3.11.1 does anyone know if this combination works with iOS 10?

It looks like some people are able to get their devices working with iOS 10 but those endorsements that I've found on here don't seem to explicitly state that yes it works entirely.

    Well, I didn't get a response so I ended up trying this for myself. This combination seems to work fine in case anyone else wants to know this (Fenix 3, Garmin Connect 3.11.1, and iOS 10).

    It's not safe to update to iOS 10 in general, because several apps are still incompatible, e.g. my guitar app.

    Regarding GCM ... it works fine on my company iPhone 5 with iOS 10.0.2, but many people here reported problems, especially with iPhone 7.

    But it's worth noting, that Apple mentioned in the list of improvements for iOS 10.1: better bluetooth compatibility with third party devices.

    Sigh! Still pushing the same barrow.

    iOS 10 works with GCM! A few people indicate they may have some problems that might or might not be related.

    Simply put, if you have a problem with a guitar app then perhaps don't update!

    iOS 10 works with GCM!


    It works for you and me, but not for everybody and nobody can tell, how high the risk is to encounter issues. That's a fact.

    HI,

    I seem to be having an issue with this combo. Find my phone app on my fenix 3 causes my 5s to freeze. it also happens with my wife's vivoactive/6s/ios 10 combo

    Have there not been ongoing issues with the Find my Phone app for some while, predating iOS 10? I seem to recall a number of threads on the forum about this.
