Weather Badge On Map

Hello,

I have noticed that the weather badge appears on some of my activities but i have no idea what the requirements are for this to happen, it seem random but not often...at all.

It has come up on about 3 of my activities. can anyone tell me what is required for this to work ? i cant seem to put my finger on it. i have attached some screen grabs to show what i'm on about.

It just means you were close enough to an international airport for Garmin Connect to obtain the weather data for your activity.

If you look at the activity on the web, you can see the airport code. In your case it should be Cairns.
