If Connect is running in the background, has internet access and GPS access on the iPhone, it works fine for me.

    iOS 10 Beta

I recently installed iOS 10 Beta 7 on my iPhone, and the weather widget on my Fenix 3 hasn't worked since.

Hopefully, with the iPhone 7 purportedly to be revealed on he 7th along with the full release of iOS 10, Garmin will have the bugs worked out.

But Apple won't ... I'm sure, that iOS 10.0 will be pretty buggy as 9.0 was too. I for sure won't update before 10.1
  • There's a discussion of the weather widget in the Vivoactive HR forum.

No Weather update after switching from Android to IOS

I have my iPhone running on IOS 10.01 and GPS is always on, but I get no weather updates (waiting for Data). Is this a IOS 10 Issue?

I don't think so. I've had iOS 10 for months (public beta) and the weather widget worked fine on my original Vivoactive.

I've got a 235 and my weather widget forecast has been consistently 10 or more degrees off for the highs but the current temps are pretty accurate. I live in Bulgaria. When I was in the States they were spot on. Not sure where the widget gets its info.

Regarding info in the German forum the widget uses Digital Cyclone:

It might be worth trying the Accuweather app from the ConnectIQ shop, because the forecasts of Accuweather's iOS and Android apps are pretty good for Europe. Maybe compare to their website first, which show identical data compared to their apps.
  • I have the same issue too on iOS 10 - on iOS 9 all worked fine. I believe this is a iOS issue...

I don't, because some Android users have similar issues. So my bet is, it's a bug in GCM.
