Notification symbol stays on the application

Hi guys,

I'm using the Garmin Connect Mobile app for iOS, on its latest version. For some reason, for a while now there has been a notification symbol with the number 1 - saying that I've got an unread event or something. The thing is, there is no such thing. I looked everywhere and I couldn't find anything. Anyone else having had similar experience? I know it's not a big deal, but that one on the app is driving me crazy :)

Try this, which just worked for me--when you open the app, click on the envelope in the upper left hand corner of the screen. There will probably be messages there, mostly updates about new functions in…

It's gone now...

I don't know what happened, but it's gone now! I was just browsing through the different menus and it seems that did the trick. No more annoying symbols :)

Did anyone figure out why this is happening? My red circle with a 3 in it is still appearing. Can't get rid if it. Been thru all of the menus. It's driving me crazy!

Turn the badge off in phone Settings until Garmin some day fix the bug...

Try the notifications and the news - sometimes there are items that are considered "unread" there and once you go through them, the notifications disappear (not always, but worth a try)...

Garmin Connect now does push notifications to let you know that activities have been uploaded successfully, among other things.

It's all in the release notes at the App Store.

Try this, which just worked for me--when you open the app, click on the envelope in the upper left hand corner of the screen. There will probably be messages there, mostly updates about new functions in the app. After I opened each message, which removed them, the number 1 notification disappeared. First time it has been gone in months.
