FR235 displaying wrong time

Two nights ago - sometime in the early hours - my FR235 went a bit mad and switched itself off then kept trying to turn back on...I was made aware of this by the constant vibrate/beeping it kept doing!! When it finally sorted itself out and turned back on, it had gone back in time by about 36hrs...
Now I can't get it to receive/display the correct time/date!!
I've turned off and on, done multiple syncs to connect app, reset and charged to full...if I manually set the time, its fine until it next syncs to app!
Anyone come across this? Any suggestions?

I don't have an FR235 but can't you set the time with a GPS fix?

I wouldnt know where to start to be honest!!

Just initiate an activity that uses GPS outside where the watch can find the satellites.

I'll give you the RTFM links, in context, which are a good place to start:

Syncing in Garmin Connect Mobile does not set the time and date on your connected FR235, and neither the app nor the watch will use the clock on your mobile handset or tablet device as the authoritative source for the current time-of-day. If the settings on your watch is such that its clock time (and date) is to be set automatically[/url], then as stated in the Owner's Manual, that is based on GPS position. It does not happen passively while your FR235 displays the selected watch face, either; you need to do something that causes the watch (to attempt) to acquire a GPS fix, which in simplest terms would involve going for a run (or at least the first two steps listed for that procedure).
