Garmin Connect issues Iphone 6 IOS9.3.2

I've just brought a Garmin Forerunner 920XT. I've downloaded the Garmin Connect app on my Iphone 6 which runs IOS 9.3.2.

Every time I go to add the device (my Forerunner 920XT), it comes up with a screen where I have to put information about myself. Then when I hit the "NEXT" button, I get "NETWORK CONNECTION ERROR".

Does anyone have any ideas how I solve this and I want to get my Forerunner connected to the App to transfer workout data and download new stuff for my watch.

Thanks

Mark

I do not have an answer for you, but just wanted to let you know your not the only one with this issue.

I received my vivoactiveHR yesterday and tried to pair with my iphone6S and I get the same message as you 'Network Connection Error'

    Hopefully somebody can help!

Unable to sync or log in

Had already been logged into Garmin Connect Mobile and started receiving "Network Connection Error" when trying to sync. Uninstalled mobile app. verified I am able to log into Garmin Connect through web browser. Reinstalled Mobile app and now I will not let me log into mobile app. Started Sunday, July 10th. Please help! iOS 9.3.2 and Garmin Vivofit 2.

Hi, right, well - I now have success!

I tried a couple of things. I am not sure which one was responsible for the success, but I now have my new Forerunner 920XT connected to my Iphone 6 and automatically transferring data.....!!!

    1) The first thing I did was to turn both devices off at the same time, then back on again.
    2) Then I logged in to my Garmin Connect account on a PC, rather than my phone. On my profile I had an old Forerunner 205 linked to my account, so I deleted this. I then logged out of the Mobile App, and logged back in again and hey presto - it worked fine for me....!

Let me know how you get on!

    Cheers

    Success

    Hey Mark,

Good to hear you have found success, and many thanks for returning to the forum and letting the community know how.

I have now paired my device.

Similar to you I had to log in to the connect website(via iPad but not using the app).
I checked my devices and found my forerunner 410 which I then had to retire, once this was done I re-booted both the phone and watch and then opened the app on the phone and proceeded to add device.

Once I got to the pairing step, I switched the Bluetooth on the watch and hey presto they began to pair.

Now I can start getting to grips with my new toy, sorry health aid.
