This is my first time using this forum and I am very confused. I bought a new Oregon 700 at GeoWoodstock in Denver. I am having some issues and wanted to ask a few questions here but I don't see a category that fits my problem. So I guess I will post this here and hope for the best. I am having an issue with my GPS connecting with my iPhone via bluetooth. I was told I had to download the app Garmin Connect which appears to me to be a fitness tracker. I have no use for such an app. I was told on my GPS that I would be told there how to pair the two units but I did not see such a thing. I was eventually able to get the two to pair but the next time I turned the GPS on, it was not connected and I could not get it to connect. It is very confusing to me that there is one main menu area but I am not taken there when I boot up the GPS. I am having difficulty finding that screen where I can do the things I want to do (geocache). Is there an article or a place I can read up on the use of this unit with maybe some tips?
