Sync of Calendar on iOS device to Vivoactive

I have previously seen the calendar events (meetings, appointments, birthdays etc) from my iPhone in the Calendar events widget on my Vivoactive. At a point in time, the events do not longer show up in the Calendar widget, and I cannot figure out why not .
Anyone out there who could assist an old man in getting this thing sorted out??
  • Is the Garmin Connect Mobile app running on your iPhone? If so, does it show (under Garmin Devices in the menu that appears when you click on in the bottom right corner) your vívoactive being connected? The Calendar widget on your watch only shows your appointments when there is a connection with the app.

Yesm the vivoactive is connected in the Garmin Connect Mobile app, and it shows as being connected. The notification (when the activity starts) is given on the watch, but the activities of the day do not show up in the calendar widget:confused:

Have you granted or revoked access to the Calendar, in the operating system settings, to the Garmin Connect Mobile app?

Notifications for upcoming appointments are generated by the Calendar app for the Notification Centre on your phone, and forwarded to the Notifications widget on your watch from there. It's a different mechanism altogether from how the Calendar widget receives the appointment entries it displays.
  • Thanks a lot, that helped :D. Sorry for being so amateur on this :(
