Intensity Minutes Not Logged By Edge 1000

This has been a bug for way too long.

I think I've had one occasion where intensity minutes were logged in GCM iOS in the last three months.

PLEASE FIX THIS ANNOYING BUG ASAP GARMIN!!

    The Edge 1000 does not have the Intensity Minutes feature, and this is why you are not seeing any Intensity Minutes logged in Garmin Connect Mobile.

    Firstly: Why ever not??

    Secondly: That's odd because I did a 45min fast (intense!) training ride the other week and it registered all of those minutes.

    Thirdly: Why ever not???

    Fourthly: Can you send be the feature request link so that I can (sigh) ask for this to be added to the features list? (why every other Garmin fitness product supports this feature and this 'flag-ship' product doesn't is beyond me????)

    It feels as though Garmin is about 20 different separate companies that don't talk to each other, yet they all have the same company name. Highly frustrating as a user. Please feed that back to the powers that be. Thanks.

    I don't have an explanation, at this point, as to why you would have seen Intensity Minutes registered for the training ride that you recently did, other than Garmin Connect displaying Intensity Minutes by mistake. This is something that we would like to look into further, and if you have a screenshot of where you were seeing the Intensity Minutes, we would be able to investigate further.

    Not all Garmin devices have the Intensity Minutes feature. This was a feature that rolled out in October 2015 with one of the activity tracking wrist worn devices, and currently this feature is only on a hand full of wearable devices.

    Here's a good example of Intensity Minutes not working:

    Today I did an hour long, intense ride and it registered 18 Intensity Minutes via my Fenix 3 HR and a chest HR strap. Then when I uploaded my ride from the Edge 1000, it mysteriously added another 20 Intensity Minutes.

    Very odd behavior. Can you please take a serious look at vising this and adding IM to the Flagship Edge 1000. My request has been submitted.

    You are experiencing an issue that appears to caused by the device. The fenix 3 team is aware of this issue and currently working on a resolution. You can test the resolution in the beta firmware posted in this thread: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?355588-Fenix-3-Tactix-Bravo-Quatix-3-7-31-Beta-Release

    :D :D :D ha, that would be funny if it were the only bug!

    I managed to replicate another issue I'm having whereby my F3 HR only reports 33mib of IM after an hour of hard riding. It's done this twice now. What a mess...

    I now have 131,201 Intensity Minutes after yesterdays activity.

    Following the Beta install my F3 appears to be correct but Connect Mobile and web still show the ridiculous figure rendering all averages un-useable.

    Theres no way to delete a weeks figures so a Moderator solution would be appreciated.
