Sync issues

Hi guys,
Not sure if anyone can help on this. I don't know how to sync workouts to my 630 (latest software installed) from my iPhone (latest iOS).

If I edit/add/delete on the Garmin Connect web interface, they update to the phone fine. If I send to the device, the workout gets there.

However, all the old workouts (deleted from the web interface which updated and thus removed from the Connect app) are still on the 630.

Do I need to manually delete from the 630 too?

    Yes, you do. ‘Send to Device’ does exactly what that says and nothing more; it doesn't mean synchronising the list/catalogue of workouts.
