Another GCM iOS Update and Still No Weight Measurements Via Edge 1000

Come on Garmin, this has been broken since around Feb this year.

PLEASE CAN YOU FIX THIS. Thanks.

PS: I'm holding my Index Scale monies hostage until this gets fixed (and the Index Scale bugs for that matter). There is no way I'm buying another Garmin product (like the juicy Garmin Varia Vision HUD, or Index scale) until these rather trivial bugs get sorted out

This issue was address on the device side with the 8.00 software update that came out on April 13. To upload weight data from a Tanita platform using your Edge 1000 you will need to power cycle your Edge 1000 after you get your weight from the Tanita. Power cylcing the Edge 1000 packages the weight data in a way that allows it to be transmitted through Bluetooth.

    Thanks for the reply.

Was this procedure ever documented? I don't remember seeing it on any of the update reports??

The only documentation indicating that the issue was resolved was the change log for the 8.0 software update. We apologize that the change log did not include the steps required to get the weight data to automatically upload to the GCM app, and for any inconvenience that this caused.
