Anyone else's HR graph line all the same color in GC?

Woke up today and my HR line in garmin connect was all red. So no matter what the value, the line was solid red.

Now, the line is solid blue. So it doesn't matter if the line is down to 44 or 170, the line is solid blue. The higher values should go from blue to yellow, orange, red.

Is anyone else seeing this?
  • Try narrowing the scope of what is unexpected and confuses, irks or disappoints you

Woke up today and my HR line in garmin connect was all red.
Why “couldn't” or don't people make some effort to scope things properly, especially when they've got a whatever up their what-not and are frustrated from not getting (or seeing) what they want (or expect)? If they can take the time to write a post and ask (or complain), they can damn well take the time to do some experimentation and thinking before responding to their own frustration.

Garmin Connect is a service, with two main types of user interface – a Web interface to be access in a browser (of which every mobile device that can run a Garmin Connect Mobile app will have at least one), and (different) Garmin Connect Mobile apps which run on three different operating system platforms.

I know this is the “Garmin Connect Mobile - iOS” subsection of the forum, but it ought not stop you from:
    • stating you're (only) seeing the phenomenon/symptom in the Garmin Connect Mobile app; and
    • checking whether you're also seeing it in Garmin Connect online using your mobile device's browser(s), even if you're nowhere near a desktop or laptop computer,
even if you cannot explore and report on whether you're also seeing it in Garmin Connect Mobile apps for Android and Windows‑10 Mobile. Whatever your “daily driver” or preferred UI is does not limit what “Garmin Connect” encompasses, and things that you choose (or prefer) not to use are still relevant to open discussion with other Garmin Connect users.

Now that we got that out of the way,
So no matter what the value, the line was solid red.
I see that is the case for 15th and 16th‑May, and not[/i] 14th‑May or earlier; and only in Garmin Connect Mobile app for iOS (updated on 13th‑May to v3.6.0.12, running on my iPad Air) but not in Garmin Connect online (accessed via the Safari browser on my iPad Air).

It's also not the case in Garmin Connect Mobile app for Android (v3.6.0.1) and Garmin Connect Mobile app for Windows 10 Mobile (v1.4.1.0) for 15th and 16th‑May or earlier dates.

My thread was pretty clear. This is the "iOS Garmin Connect" subsection of this forum.....do I REALLY need to spell it out for you, or could YOU just use some critical thinking skills and figure out which part of the platform I'm having issues with?

    It really isn't that difficult.

Thanks for your absolutely smug and useless post, though.

You asked if anyone else is seeing it. Not only did I answer your question, but I also pointed out what you did badly and where you failed in terms of narrowing down the scope of where it is seen, so it went above and beyond what was asked. If you think answering your question, and clarifying the scope for those who may have an interest in and/or the capability to fix any issues (where you cannot), counts as “useless”, then perhaps you need to recalibrate.

Lol ok. Posting in this forum is all of the "narrowing down" needed, since this forum is only for one single subsection of Garmin.....specifically the iOS Garmin Connect app. Somehow that was lost on you and you felt the need to make sure we excluded the rest of garmin.

It's akin to you calling a Ford dealership and inquiring about your Ford Taurus, and someone insisting that you outline exactly what cars we are NOT talking about. So we aren't talking about a Chevy, Subaru, Toyota, Infiniti, Nissan, etc etc on and on???

Nope.....Because I called the Ford place.......Just like I posted in the:

Into Sports> Garmin Connect Mobile Application> Garmin Connect Mobile - iOS

Seems pretty clear to me. Lol. Have a good one.

I think you're the one who is demonstrating (for the benefit of fellow forum members?) how to write an absolutely smug and useless post.

Since you seem far more interested in futilely talking your way out of the embarrassment of your own making, instead of doing something useful and contribute to the discussion (which need not be concerned about how you feel), let me show you for the benefit of fellow forum members how you've failed to narrow down the scope of the issue, even if everyone chose to graciously overlook your misuse of terminology:
