Bluetooth connection Garmin Express Mobile (iPhone 6) with Edge 810

Hello.

I'm having trouble getting a proper bluetooth-connection between my Edge 810 and my iPhone 6.
I have activated the bluetooth on both devices, and the connection (pairing) itself goes without any trouble, but;
my iPhone says it's connected to the Edge 810 and my Edge 810 says something else. The bluetooth symbol on the main screen still flashes, and if I open the bluetooth settings, and then choose my phone, it says "Status: disconnected".

I have tried to "forget phone" and "forget device" on both my phone and my Edge 810, but the same thing happens every time.
I have either not been able to sync my activities from my Edge 810 to my phone.

Any ideas?

    Same issues with Edge 510 and iPhone 6S

    I switched recently to an iPhone 6S (from an iPhone 6 Plus) and have lost the ability to connect to the phone or sync activities.

    Things are even worse because when I connect the edge 510 to my computer (using Mac OS X 10.11.4) The computer does not recognize it is connected. I have only been able to connect it to an iPad mini to be able to sync the activities.
  • Also have Bluetooth issues

    I have precisely the same issue as you have. Phone says Connected, Garmin Connect Mobile on iPhone 6 doesn't recognise the connection. Also, the Edge 810 shows the iPhone as disconnected in the Bluetooth section, yet if I turn off Bluetooth on my iPhone it beeps and says "Phone Disconnected". I've done a hard reset on the Garmin but same issue remains.

    Did you resolve your issue and if you did, what did you do ?

    Everyone needs to submit a help email request through the Garmin Mobile Connect app with the exact problem you are having so they know what to fix with the next app update and firmware fix. It is most likely a problem with the device firmware since the phone sees the connection yet the device does not recognize it is connected thus it does not start the synchronization.
