GCM and Fenix3 not syncing activities

It appears my activities on my Fenix 3 are not syncing via GCM.
On Sunday I went for a bike ride, noticed that activity did not sync while I was having post ride refuel at cafe. Got home and it must have eventually sync by WiFi.
Go for a ride Monday activity - no sync.
Go for run today (Tuesday) no wifi. Sync on GCM seems OK but recent activities missing.

On last ride in April every thing was fine and worked normally.
I have restarted watch and iPhone. I have unpaired and paired Fenix 3 and iPhone. I have reinstalled iOS app.

I am hoping to recover activities when I next connect to Mac.

Any ideas on what to do / try next?

Tried another activity

So I tried logging another activity. It all works normally now every thing was reset. I will post more if I can recover the missing activities.

I hope this helps others, as all has ended well (and I am closer to my targets for the year)

After racing this evening I connected my F3 (it lasted a week without charging, not something Apple can boast about), and fired up Garmin Express. It did a sync and my missing activities were uploaded. Happy days.

No idea what was going on but now my F3 is now on SW version 7.0 I hope this was just a glitch.

hi Ben, maybe a bit old this post...but i do have the same issue ie Fenix3 not syncing automatically. Did you manage to find the solution?
