Negative Active Calories

New Fenix 3 about a month old.

All was working fine until 4 days ago when my active calories in the app seemed to go haywire. If I look at my calories graph there are now no activities shown and my active calorie totals have switched to my resting calories but negative values.

So my last few days show -1840 calories, -1783 calories, - 2074 calories.

If I look at the calorie details page, the data seems correct ie 2074 RESTING calories and 659 Active.. Somewhere between the daily details page and the weekly summary, something goes wrong.

    For 5 days ago I have the same problem. The graph is not updated and the total active calories appear negative .

    I sent a report of this to Garmin yesterday. Looking today at the figures from 13/4 it appears that as far as weekly activity summaries go, they decided that if there were additional activities outside of steps then with a total set at zero they took off the resting calories then added the additional calories (for example from running) so:

    On 18/4 I didn't do additional exercise and had 409 calories burned from steps and normal day to day activities and my total shown in the summary was 409 which is correct. On 19/4 however I burned an extra 306 calories running. Here they have started with 0 taken away the resting number of 1249 giving -1249 then added on the 306 giving their summary total of -943.

    On 22/4 they seemed to have changed things again, and to do this for all situations, whether you had additional activities or not. So for example on 22/4 I had no additional activities but from 0 they took my resting calories that day which were 1357 giving -1357 had nothing to add so the total for the summary was -1357. The situation seems to be the same now though I haven't been able to check yesterday's numbers as the record isn't showing across all screens and it seems to think I've done nothing or haven't synced.

    Hope it gets fixed soon and retrospectively too.

    Just wanted to let you know i'm experiencing the same issue for the past 5 days, only negative actieve calorieën on the weekview, where on the dayview it look ok.

    I have a fenix 3 hr and use the iOS app on my iPhone

    here is the same, negative Calories in Overview, I´m using a vivosmart HR. Problem ist still existing.

    Having the same issue since I bought my Vivosmart HR a week ago. I only get positive calories for my steps but other than that like running, cycling, etc. I always get negative calories. :mad:

    It happens only in Health Stats/Calories page in Connect App. It should be resolved ASAP.

    New Fenix 3 HR, a week old.

    I am having the same issue ever since I started using the watch last week. The Active Calories have been negative all the while until today:

    I have not done anything differently, except to save an activity for the first time yesterday (unsure if this is related or not). So it looks like this problem is still not resolved. I have a few questions:

    1) Did the problem go away for any of you?

    2) Were there any outcomes from the cases logged with Garmin so far?

    3) Is there anyway to go in manually to clear the incorrect entries?

    Spoke with support. They are aware of the issue and working on fixing it (new release of the app in pp store)
    They have not been able to give me an ETA but thought it might be within the next 2 weeks
