Latest Connect Mobile just gets worse & worse

Every time I delete an email from my default Mail App on my iPhone (4S IOS 9.3.1), my Vivosmart HR (FW3.10) is sent a notification of emails from weeks ago for each email deleted!

Occasionally , the Stairs random number that is used to represent the Stairs I am supposed to have climbed, disappears from the screen. No idea why.

Also I love the way that the Back buttons are still hidden from view - nice touch.

Now I have a blue intrusive semi circle that keeps appearing on the screen. If I press it, I get a message along the lines of "I have not walked enough" and "Read full insight". If I press read full insight, I get a red message saying that there is no internet connection! There is of course an internet connection, because when there genuinely is no internet connection, Connect Mobile shows a blank screen - another nice design feature. I also love the way I can't remove that stupid blue thing. I have no idea what an insight is because I have never seen one.

I also really like the way that my heart rate is not displayed together with my sleep data. Why would anyone want that sort of information?

Still unable to add Calories using MyFitnesPal and Connect does not integrate with the Health App. Always found it confusing what there is no way to enter calories other than attempt to use a competitors (Under Armour) MyFitnessPal App.

I do hope Garmin will at least fix the many many problems soon but I have given up any hope of Garmin sorting everything out. Shame on Garmin for not understanding the Fitness Tracking market and understanding what's needed to make a complete product.

Can I offer you some honest, unbiased feedback?

Literally most of your complaints are due to your lack of understanding on how to use the app.

Don't like the insights? Simply unsubscribe to them.

Back buttons hidden? (I'm assuming you mean you can't navigate away during a sync) Simply click "hide" on the blue bar when syncing. Other than that, not sure what you mean by the back buttons are hidden....

Want to see your HR overlayed with your sleep pattern? Simply log into GC on a computer and click on today's HR. It automatically shows ALL of your HR data for today and overlays your sleep movement.

MFP calories is a known issue, I've had trouble with it also within the last 2 days. I notified garmin. Not sure what your issue with using MFP is..........their app is a specialty thing directly related to nutrition. There's literally nothing better for tracking your nutrition.

There are only two complaints you have that are due to GC, the rest are your misunderstandings. Only saying that because once you understand how all of it works, you will most likely be MUCH happier with the product.

I didn't subscribe to Insights in the first place and they just started appearing a week ago. I will go searching for the unsubscribe. Insights popped up while I was having breakfast this morning and said I hadn't done enough steps so far - which was indeed a useful insight.

No, I meant that there simply are no back buttons displayed in the IOS Connect App to navigate back to the main window. Go into Intensity Minutes for example, and there is no visible way to go back.

"Simply log into GC on a computer" - there lies the problem. What if I don't have a computer? Garmin doesn't state that you have to have a computer as well as the VSHR. Why can't it be displayed in the Connect App, was my point. Incidentally, the GC HR display is of such low resolution to be pretty much useless. By contrast the Strava HR information is excellent.

The issue with relying on a 3rd party such as Under Armour, is that one day UA could stop MFP from syncing with non UA devices. Garmin should create their own way to enter calories.

Sorry, but I don't quite see how. The timeline chart overlays 24-hour heart rate with sleep time and movement outside of that, but not either sleep movement or sleep levels, as far as I can see. Could you please show or explain to me how? Thanks!

Seriously? What is that light blue less-than symbol < in the top left corner whenever the user is looking at a page other than the Snapshots, Leaderboard, Calendar and News Feed tabs of the 'main window'?

Last I checked, I can do almost all the same things in a browser on my iPad, my Android 'phablet' or my Windows Phone handset as I do in a browser on my computer, except maybe for certain things that involve hovering the mouse pointer.

Garmin doesn't state that you have to have a computer as well as the VSHR.
So does the vivosmart HR have all of its on-board features and functionality described in the owner's manual? To access the Garmin Connect service, the user of course needs a computer, tablet or phone that is connected to the Internet, but it isn't strictly necessary for the VSHR to act as a stand-alone device. You either accept that access to the GC service is part-and-parcel of using the VSHR, but you're responsible for providing/acquiring the equipment and network connectivity required, or you can take the view that the VSHR works as an activity tracker in its own right without connecting to anything else.

Why can't it be displayed in the Connect App, was my point.
Just because how to access certain information or service features is not to your liking, it doesn't mean Garmin hasn't provided it in a manner that is sufficiently fit for purpose. It's your prerogative to have an unfavorable opinion of something and express your grievance, but you cannot simply expect others to regard your preferences as meriting accommodation.

That is my point. There is NO SYMBOL visible on my iPhone4S. The iPhone4s display is badly drawn and some text overflows over other text. I can assure you there is no visible symbol. I believe it is a failure of the software on sub 4" mobile displays to respond to the screen width and correctly drawn all elements. Just as it was on the previous GC version that displayed the NEXT button off screen making it impossible to use.

Just swipe then? All of the my day data can be seen by swiping.

And to disable insights you just go "more" then click insights, then press the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner, unsubscribe.

Nope. Swiping goes to the next or previous day. It does not go back

On the main page, the "my day" page, you swipe. It will cycle through the pages you have chosen to see......you choose the pages by using the top right corner of the main screen, pressing the 4 squares.

If you're look at a particular stat that ISN'T the "my day" page, then yes swiping will either go to the previous or next day.

Again, I feel like there's some misunderstanding here. Maybe watch a youtube video on how to use the app? There are a few to choose from.

That is all clear. However, if I go to Floors for example (which is called Stairs in VSHR) and swipe left or right, it does not go back. There is NO VISIBLE BACK BUTTON!
