Bought a vivosmart hr a few weeks ago. I first was able to get weather on my Garmin but lately every time I look it says no app connection available. Does anyone else have a problem with this situation?
Go into bluetooth settings and click "connect to mobile device" or whatever it says on your watch (I use the F3 HR). Make sure it's connected and the phone is in the vicinity first of all.
Second, there are 2 things you can do to make the weather app show data if it says "waiting on data":
1. Acquire a GPS lock. That's it. Let the watch know where you are in the world, and it will show weather within a few seconds.
2. If you can't acquire a gps lock for some reason, open google maps and let it acquire your location, then sync in garmin connect.
Both of those steps will make the watch show weather, at least for a while.
