Garmin Connect FR920XT Multisport/Triathlons won't show on mobile app IOS

Hi There,

I've had the Garmin for about a month now. Works well with connect for all of my training BUT when I have completed a triathlon/brick session it shows the title on my activity list but doesn't show any data . It just come up with a message asking me to refresh. Which I do multiple times to no avail.

I can see my data online via the web based connect. But I'd prefer to see it on my phone (Apple 6).

This has happened twice now. The original event is still not coming up.

Does anyone have ideas on how to get this working properly?

Cheers
Michl
  • I've been unable to view multisport activities for some time now... A workaround is to lick on daily details, either via My Day > Timeline or Calendar > select day... I then have the option to view each segment (swim, t1, bike, t2, run) of the activity.

Nice spot and thanks for sharing, at least we can view the detail for each segment and edit the titles. The Garmin GCM CS team have got back in touch with me and are re-raising the issue (they had thought they'd fixed it with GCM 3.5, but now accept they hadn't).

That's great. I raised a ticket on the 12th and never got a response other than than confirming the ticket had been raised. Just got an email from Garmin how my experience was and I've told them. Pretty disappointed - it does make you wonder if they actually use their own products as viewing multi sport activities isn't exactly unusual.

Looks like it's been fixed in the latest GC update (3.6.0.12)

    Hi,
Updated the Garmin Connect iOS app just now and I can view my multisport activities that were blocked previously. Happy days! :)

Appears to be working for me after today's update as well.
  • I've updated both my iPhone SE and iPad Air 2 to GCM 3.6.0.12 and I still can't view my old multisport activities. I'll try the old log out and then log in to GCM and if that doesn't work I'll reinstall. Failing that I'll have to re-report to the support folks who have been dealing with my case.
  • So I've uninstalled and reinstalled GCM on both the iPhone SE and iPad Air 2 and recorded a new indoor row-indoor bike multisport activity https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1175926121 and I still can't view the activity (or my older ones) in GCM. I'll have to follow up with the support team again.
