Fenix 3 and connect mobile

Hi

When syncing with Garmin connect mobile the activities are coming through but device is unknown. Not sure why. It worked originally.

I tried to remove the watch and add it again (the fenix). However it is still not recognised when completing an activity. Please help.

When it syncs it recognises my watch. And also in devices it knows it's connected. Just not when doing activities. So the names of runs etc are 'untitled '. Frustrating.

Any help would be jolly nice.

I don't understand how you got the Febix 3 HR if you are not in direct contact with Garmin. If you are, ask them for the actuall beta of GCM. And, btw, tell them to adopt Basecamp Mobile functions!

My mistake on the HR - I didn't know there was a new model so ASSUMED the HR meant the Fenix with HRM. Ill edit the post. Thanks.

Same thing here, the device is unknown in Garmin Connect App, and on Garmin Connect Web, it doesn't display the correct image of the watch anymore.

I'm on the F3 Beta firmware 6.55...

fenix 3

hello I have the same problem. in connect my device is "unknown ". only with fenix 3. with vivoactive works perfect.:confused:

Unknown device Fenix 3

Same issue. Activities recording works and activities are uploaded, but GCM activity summary reads "unknown device", although elsewhere in GCM (eg settings, or connected devices) the device is clearly identified/recognised as fenix3.

Same issue. "Unknown" device for the past few days. Maybe an error with GCM since the update added F3HR support?
All past activities with my F3 show correct prior to 1/11/16

Odd, even after latest update for Garmin Connect for iPhone, Fenix 3 still showing as Unknown

Same problem

Same problem: device and activieties are always unknown .
Using GCM 3.2.0.11, GE 4.1.15.0 and firware on Fenix 3 is 6.50.0.0 .

Fixed!?

This problem now seems resolved for me on F3 version 6.50 although previous activities that were not associated with the f3 as a device remain labelled as "unknown"...anyone else?

GCM +Fenix3 beta 6.72 Unknown device , no image f3 :(
