Issues connecting RunKeeper and Garmin Connect

My RunKeeper says it's connected with Garmin, as does my Garmin Connect. But, it doesn't upload my runs to RunKeeper. Well, it did one, but it took 24 hours for it to work.

A support person mentioned that only runs with GPS would sync. Is that true? I do a fair amount of treadmill runs in the winter and having to create those manually is a bit ridiculous.

I'm currently using Tapiriik but it's a bit slow and an extra step that I shouldn't have to do.
  • I am using Runkeeper for years now and just got my Vivoactive this year. Created Garmin Connect account and connect to my Runkeeper profile and it works well... The only thing is that the timezone is incorrect. I am still finding ways to fix it... Hope someone from this forum can help.

  • How long did it take to upload? I'm used to it being basically instant with TomTom My Sports (and the app I previously used for my Bia).
  • Syncing suddenly stopped

    Hi folks,

    I just wanted to resurrect this thread as this seems to be an issue for me as well. I authorized Runkeeper to sync with Garmin connect as per Runkeeper's support guide. I've had a about a week of runs synced up, and as of yesterday, it suddenly stopped. My Saturday run never synced from Garmin Connect to Runkeeper. It's logged successfully on the Garmin Connect web site. Both my Garmin Connect and Runkeeper account pages show the services as authorized to talk to each other. Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone know a way to manually retry syncing an activity between Garmin Connect and Runkeeper?

    I've had no issues, mine comes up on Runkeeper immediately.
    But when it posts on Runkeeper my times are wayyy off. Anyone else have this issue/fix?
  • Make sure your timezone is set in Garmin Connect website; https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings

    My sync has never worked. And now even my exported GPX files from Garmin Connect will not import to Runkeeper.
