LiveTrack Session Statistics Malfunction

LiveTrack regularly fails to keep the ride session's statistics properly synchronized through the course of a bicycle ride. Different LiveTrack recipients report the same problem. When stopping for a restroom break or some nourishment, then continuing the ride, LiveTrack’s ride statistics seem to restart their count and/or otherwise malfunction. The recipient’s computer-displayed LiveTrack session data often shows restarted, incorrect, and/or negative results. I have no idea why this is happening, but it has been occurring for a substantial period, and has persisted through a variety of Garmin’s updates.

I have a Garmin 810 with firmware version 4.3, an iPhone 6 with O.S. 9.2, and Garmin Connect version 3.1.4.1.

    I'm having the same issue with my vívoactive® HR. Using Live Tracking, the following message appears on the applicable post to Facebook "The activity is not yet complete, but the tracking session has ended'. I'm stumped on the taking the necessary steps to regularise this snag. i'd be grateful for helpful feedback on how to solve the problem. I have checked the notification settings and pushed the stop button after the session is completed. Thanks
