I was getting warnings pop up on my iPhone that GC Mobile was using my location in the background, even when it was not running. This was surprising as I couldn't figure out a reason for it needing my location all the time. So, I set it to 'While Using' in the Settings-->Privacy-->Location Services.
Is there a reason why GC Mobile needs to use your location even when it's not running?
