Epix not connecting to iOS 9

I updated my iPad2 to iOS 9 just to download Garmin connect mobile so I can sync a epix. Found it doesn't work anyway. Anyone got any tips on getting the Bluetooth synced to iOS 9 or is this a bug in the epix?
