This is frustrating.
I've completed the sticky note at the top of this forum for deleting and reenabling BT and I still struggle with this problem each time I start out on a ride.
I turn on the 520 and it shows that it has connected with the phone. I check the iPhone Settings for BT... and the Edge 520 and BLE_Edge 520 are CONNECTED. I check GC Device tab and the 520 shows NOT CONNECTED!! Garmin Connect 2.13.3 does not see the connection with the 520. It takes several cycles of power off and power on of both the GC app and the Edge 520 before GC "sees" the Edge 520.
How does the iPhone see the connection, the Edge 520 see the connection, and Garmin Connect NOT see the connection?! Is there a way to force GC to see & accept the connection?
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you have an approach or workaround that works?
One last thing I should add. I have a Vivosmart. This situation occurs whether or not the Vivosmart is connected to GC, and whether or not the Vivosmart has its BT enabled. So, I don't believe it is directly related.
