Forerunner 225 iphone 6 won't pair

I have the same problem. I have a a cheap $30 pair of bluetooth headphones straight from China that pair just fine. Why is it our local company can't get this right and how is it that the first poster has gone almost 30 days w/o a response? #fail


Update: Won't pair to my iMac of my Samsung Tablet either.. how can you guys be so bad at this? I should probably have know better after going though so many of the forerunner series.. I just thought that this time you might have it figured out.


Update: Have initiated refund process with amazon. I have 7 days. Or more accurately, support has 7 days to save a sale and make me and crdeangelis happy.

Same issue with Forerunner 220

Previously it worked fine with my iPhone 5, but with new iPhone 6s it wont pair.
Do I have to somehow "delete" the old pairing on the Forerunner?

Found a solution (for me)

I Solved this for me. Hope it works for you.

(I was not able to pair through the iPhone settings.)

I solved this issue for me by going into the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone 6s and clicking on "more" on the bottom right, then "Garmin Devices". I then added my watch there. It did take a few tries but I am now connected. It also now shows in the phone settings once I connect.
