Vibration alerts not working

HI

Im new, i have a vivosmart paired with a galaxy 4 android, it seems to work fine except the vibration alert when i receive a call is not working
it tells me i have missed a call so the connection is there, i must be missing something, any ideas anyone please

I notice the same thing for my wife. Turns out the vibration doesn't activate if the screen is on
And since she never puts the phone down, would never get any vibration alerts. Perhaps this applies to you?

Please check the Privacy settings on the vivosmart. Double tap the screen to wake it up, then touch and hold until you get the settings. Swipe through the settings until you see the triangle and select it. Here's more about how they work:

• Touching "On" - Enables vibration alerts.
• Touching "Privacy" - Enables vibration alerts and displays notifications in privacy mode. NOTE: In privacy mode, the sender's name and notification contents do not appear in the notification alert.
• Touching "Off" - Disables vibration alerts.

NOTE: Alert settings do not affect the alarm clock settings on your Garmin Connect account.
