its been years now and STILL when you share an activity (all measurements in Metric) from Connect to Facebook, the post in Facebook shows everything in Imperial (miles etc.) this issue has been around for ever and I cannot fathom why Garmin (a company in the business of distance measurement etc.) cannot fix this!!
One of the reasons why I have linked my Connect account with my Strava account. I just use GC to upload the data, then use Strava to analyse and share it
all settings (Garmin connect mobile and garmin connect directly - also smartphone) are set so metric units. But when sharing my activities on Facebook garmin connect mobile always uses imperial units instead of metric ones.
When sharing out of IE/Firefox and Garmin connect it´s working fine. Any ideas?
This bother the hell out of me, since we live in a place with only metric, why the hell can I not set it to default metric on sharing? I´m not, and neither are my friends, interested in imperial settings, and the hassle with changing it every god damn time..
