Fenix3: Problem with receiving of gmail notifications & text messages not opening

Dear all,

although smart notifications from Yahoo email account and social media as Messanger seem working fine with my Fenix 3 through Samsung Note 3 mobile, gmail notifications from emails or calendar events do not seem to be forwarded at all. The configuration is normally enabled on Garmin Mobile Connect.

Also while text messaging notification arrives normally, it seems not possible to read the content (only 'new message' is visible after activation).

Is there anything I am missing? Any helpful advice?

I don´t know whats "normaly" enabled :)
You have to add every App manually under Connect Settings to see the notifications. From the startup there were several stock Applications automatically added, but not the Samsung Mail App, f.g.
In my case (using HTC) I had to add the Mail-App manually, as well.

Hi HerrRiebmann,

thank you for your reply. What I meant was that I have checked that the Gmail app what part of the Connect Settings, exactly as I did for Yahoo. It might be some security config settings by the Gmail-side that I probably need to check. However, as it seems it works for you, so it should not be a bug or misbehavior but rather a configuration issue by my side. I will check again from scratch.
