Vivoactive smart notification function don't work on Huawei P8

I there I just have my Huawei P8 for one day. Its has Android lollipop 5.0. At first I have problems with Bluetooth connection, then I fix the connetion by updating my VA from version 2.80 to 2.90. But the notification of incoming massages and emails are still not working. The Carmin Connect App keeps asking permit to synchronize information with VA.

Have the ability to see on your watch who is calling or texting you during the workout without fishing out your big smartphone is the reason for me to use VA and I also believe a lot of people has the same reason to by VA as mine. So if this malfunction is not fix I believe Garmin willlose a lot Vivoactive users.

So. Please can anyone help me out.

    Same problem

    I have the same problem with my vivosmart and Huawei P8 . I need a solution or change my SmartBand as this is too expensive for not complying with specifications
  • Have you given notification acces to Connect in the security settings of your phone? The fact that it is asking for permission seems to indicate that it is not set.

    Problems with Vivoactive HR and Huawei P8

    Similar problem for me! I receive notification on my watch, but I only see the sender. I can't see the content of the notification.
    Anyone has had this problem?
