Steps from yesterday showing under today's date in Steps-Day view

It's 8 am on 25 April 2015. I've just synced the Vivofit.

The Dashboard shows 94 steps for today (correct). If I tap on the steps, it opens the "Steps-Day" view. This shows today's date, but the steps from YESTERDAY. All my steps counts are now displaying on the wrong day. What's going on?

The Distance data on the Dashboard seems to be the last "Activity" - but it doesn't display the name or date of the activity.

And why so much white space on the Dashboard, and on the menu? It's a huge waste of screen space, and very frustrating since I can't add quick links to the data I actually want.

As to your amount of white space, make certain all of your settings are turned on. Tap the pencil icon on the top right & make certain everything is on.
For the mismatch steps, make certain your program is up to date. My version is 2.11.2. To see what version your running goto your dashboard and tap on "about ".
  • I don't have your problem but I have another one that is close. When I first sync in the morning, I go to the dashboard and it continues to show me yesterday's stats across the board. If I go to steps per day, it shows me today's steps. When i go back to the dashboard, it continues to show me yesterdays stats. In summary, the inverse of your issue. The way I get it to display today is I just go to settings, do nothing, and then I go back to the dashboard. Then it flips to today (until tomorrow when I have to rinse and repeat).

To me it's probably a cache issue. So try doing what I did and also clear the Connect cache.

Thanks Phil. Build is 2.11.2 and I've cleared the cache. Still has yesterdays steps showing up under today's date.
  • Yes. I cleared my cache as well and my opposite issue continues. Fortunately, just selecting settings and then returning to the dashboard gets me to today's steps.
