Vivoactive not uploading activity data

I don't know if anyone else has this problem. I'm using Garmin Connect Mobile on a Moto G (1st Gen) with Lollipop. The watch updates, syncs data with the mobile app and the Auto Upload feature is enabled, but the activity data doesn't get uploaded to the mobile app. Auto Upload has also been switched off and on to no avail.
The activity is in the History and using Garmin Express it can be uploaded into Garmin Connect through the USB cradle, but not through the mobile app.
Is there something obvious that I'm missing? Is there a way to manually force an upload?

    Same here. Try to force close the app, turn BT off and on again, turn off the Vivoactive, restart the app and turn on again the watch. In this order. Is it connecting to the watch? Does it try to upload/sync?
  • I've seen this a couple times, and restarting the phone seems to clear it up.

    Hi,

    same problems for me. To correct it, i have cleared all the data from the connect mobile application (clear cache and clear data from the application system window), and i paired again my vivoactive with my phone (nexus 4).
    The sync was successfull after that... But it's really boring to be forced to do this manipulation to use the bluethooth function...

    Hope and update will arrive. And it should be good to have a button to force the update of the vivosmart through bluethooth, and to see the details of the sync, like when you pair for the first time !

    I aggree. Forced update would be essential really. I also found that SOMETIMES it works for me to restart both watch and phone, but this is no solution really. Haven't restarted my phone in months before basically. And now I have to do it every time I want to sync? And then it still doesn't work sometimes. Sadly Garmin hasn't answered any of my support tickets so far. I just hope they are aware of the problems.
