can't send course to device

Hi,I've just bought aegde 810,have created some course and wanted to send the course by using the arrow(send to device),but it send at all despite resetting all settings.it just shows(an error has occurs)whe I hit the arrow.I''ve created the maps using garmin connect web.does any one ha e the same problem or has any solutions?

    The Garmin Edge 810 is running software 3.40. My android phone is running 2.9.1.

    When I try to push a course from my phone to the device, I just get "an error has occurred." Has anyone found a fix for this?

    I've also got this issue, I've not tried courses but it happen with workouts. It has worked in the past.

    After a time i had the same issue for courses from mobile connect to my edge 810 and all in the begin it worked fine.
    so i tried the workaround first as described in previous thread but it didnt help for me but after reinstalling the app on my samsung phone it worked back again. I hope it stays that way now.

    I have just purchased a new Edge 810. I have paired it with my LG G2 android running Garmin Connect. When I try to send a course to my Garmin it pops up a message just saying "An error has occurred". Any one found a solution to this problem? Its one of the key selling points of the 810 over the 510 for me and the fact it's letting me down is disappointing.

    Same problem here.

    Created a course in Garmin Connect web, can't send it to my device via GC Mobile app.

    Updated the app.

    There is a new screen to send to device. But it doesn't seem to do anything, I click to "send to device", then I see my device as connected with a blue tick next to it. Then when I click on "finished" ("terminé" in french :) ) nothing happens.

    Anyone has the same problem here?
  • This seems to be the same problem as trying to send a Workout to the device. It goes to that same screen and does nothing.

    There was a time that this actually worked, so I don't know when they broke it.

    New kind of error !!

    When I try to send a course to the device, there is now the blue syncing bar at the bottom of the app, saying "syncing with device" (or stuff like that, I'm translating from french)

    But seconds after thet a red bar appaears saying sync failed because there is no internet connection. (???)

    1) Why the app would need internet connection to send something via bluetooh?

    2) My phone IS actually connected to the internet via 4G cell network. (Tried with wifi at home, same problem)

    After updating the GC app on my phone I can now send courses to my device !

    For what it's worth, I had trouble sending courses to my Edge 500 recently, and I discovered it didn't work from my machine using Google Chrome, but worked fine using Internet Explorer. Might be relevant to someone having this problem.
