Connect and Vivosmart sync issue

Hi,
I have the latest version of connect and vivosmart installed on both device. The problem I have is that my activities do not seem to sync whenever I sync my device. The steps, sleep data and so on sync when my vivosmart is connected to my phone, but my runs do not get synced. I have to manually sync it.(press sync on the vivosmart). When that doesn't work, I have to disconnect the bt, close the app wait for a bit, then sync for it to work. Is that a known issue?
