When I go to install the android app, play store tells me that the app wants access to calendar, contacts, location, SMS, phone, photos/media/files, camera, bluetooth connection information, device id and call information. I can't think of anything it hasn't asked for access to. Why? Are Garmin are in bed with the NSA???
Not all devices need it but Connect sends notifications regarding all those apps to many of the devices it supports such as the vivosmart or the vivoactive.
