Test messages not showing smart notification Fenix 3 and samsung s5

So i can get calendar notifications but not text message notifications on my fenix 3. Anyone know how to fix this please?

Any luck? I am experiencing the same issue, notifications directly go to the widget without triggering sound/vibration notification. I even did a hard reset, no joy....

I have a Sony Xperia z2 with the garmin on the latest firmware.

Hi, Purchased the Vivoactive yesterday. Looks fantastic.
I can not get txt notifications. Well after doing everything in the forums several times and sending dozens of texts two got into notifications for a few seconds and disappeared.
Can anyone help?

Notifications are still blank for me on android - it says who they are from and an X - but it's clearing them from my phone when I click the X

iphone 6 brand new fenix 3 and was getting notifications then it stopped. help?

have tried bluetooth on and off. Notifications on iphone on and off. No luck...any ideas?

Fix for S4 and both my 520 edge and wife's Fenix 2 and vivosmart HR

Go to your text messages, tap the lower left corner to open settings, tap setting, tap notifications (toward the bottom), check the box that says "preview message"

Full uninstall of connect and reinstall worked. It's forced to re-ask for all needed allowances.
