help LinkinG garmin connect and my fitness pal

Would lIke step by step instructions on linking the 2 apps.
I have both apps on my phone.

Go into GC, and select the Calories In/Out widget. In there is a button to connect to MFP. that is the only way that I have found to get them connected. The link from MFP to Garmin does not work.

FYI: There's currently a communication link problem between My Fitness Pal and Garmin.
