Missing map data

Hi all,

I'm using Garmin Connect Mobile app with a Vivosmart.
After a run I look in the activity tab and see that in my activity there's no map with the route I've ran.
It says: There is no map data for this activity.

Have I missed a setting??
Can't find anything...:confused:

The Vivosmart has no GPS, how do you think it will get map data, magic?

Then why put a map into the app if it doesn't have GPS. I have the same exact question. Using iPhone 6, garmin connect, and a vivosmart. When I access the map - the first page of the activity tracking portion, it pops up no map data.

The same app is used for devices that do have GPS - like the vivoactive, Fenix, and Forerunners, for example.

And for those devices, you can also record stuff without GPS data (like indoor running)
