Sony Xperia Z3

Just had a quick look through the compatible smartphone list and was a little shocked not to find the Z3 listed.

Does anyone know if the Connect Mobile features work on the Z3 please?

Decided to upgrade from WP which doesn't look like it will ever be seeing Connect Mobile and it looks like I've gone for a smartphone which isn't supported!!

FML :)

Had an update to the Edge 1000 and a couple of updates for the GCM app recently but it still doesn't see the Edge in the app.

    Very frustrating.

Another update...still not working on the Note 4.
What Garmin device is not working with the Note 4?

Garmin Edge 1000. It pairs with the phone via Bluetooth but the Garmin app just doesn't see it. Tried unpairing/repairing, restarting phone and Edge a number of times but no joy. I'm aware the Note 4 isn't on the supported list but it does meet the requirements with Android and Bluetooth versions.

Still not working after latest update (16/01/2015).

Beginning to lose hope here. The app seems to be problematic for loads of people and it continues to receive low ratings on a regular basis.

Have to wonder what Garmin are doing??!!
  • @Nick1020 - Just to confirm... you are pairing the device from within GCM and not via your Bluetooth settings, correct?

Yes...but even then the app only redirects to the phone's Bluetooth settings.

    Another update (28/01/15)......

And it finally works!!!! The Note 4 and the Edge 1000 are connecting to eachother properly and missed call/sms notifications are working as they should. Still need to test when out on the bike but progress!

    Woohoo!

At first, it didn't look like it had worked as it wasn't showing as connected in the app so I went through the process of unpairing/repairing but no joy. So I thought I'd reboot both the phone and Edge and give it another go. Just as I was about to reboot the Edge, I noticed it said Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in the Bluetooth settings which is something I hadn't noticed before. After rebooting, I paired again and it was working.

    Hope that helps.
