Fenix 2 SE has the latest 4.0 firmware. HTC M8 is running Anroid 4.4.2 - and it's on Garmin's supported/compatible devices list (HAHA)
I can Bluetooth pair the two of them, sync and get notifications, BUT - whenever they are disconnected and then connected again I have to go through the whole PASSCODE process then 2-5 minutes of "syncing" the device.
Any answers for this? I was told by "Tech Support" yesterday that this is "just an issue" with some phone / watch combinations. Not very helpful.
On a semi-related note, does anyone know why the Fenix continually changes it's Bluetooth passcode? I can't help wondering that that behavior makes an already flakey connection process even worse.
Feature request: Make the Fenix-2 stop changing it's passcode, or at least make it optional!
