Firmware 3.30 has just been released, when you sync the Vivofit the firmware is automatically loaded and a countdown timer starts 99-00 followed by OK. It could be that your firmware update has stalled at 96. Have you tried holding the button down for 30 seconds? If that doesn't work give Garmin Support a ring (it's a waste of time emailing them).
